VOX (short for voice operated switch) is a term commonly used in telecommunications. It refers to a switch that works when a sound is detected by a device (transmitter or recording device) which is activated by the sound in place of a user pushing a button to transmit. Based on this principle, we developed several different kinds of headsets which apply the VOX function, such as the light duty behind-the-head Headset and the Bone Conduction Mic.
